C-Mon Giveaway Extravaganza: LP Costa Rica.

Hey Folks:

The latest edition of Lonely Planet’s guide to Costa Rica is out and it’s got several chapters by yours truly. So, if you want to know where to find the best effing cinnamon rolls in San José or are looking for the spiciest Caribbean chicken in Tortuguero or simply want to know where to take a hike in the Central Valley, then this is the book for you.

As always, I’ve got an extra copy to give away. Leave a comment below and this little baby could be yours.

xox,
C.

Do I need to wear leech pants whilst trekking through the jungles with a machete? Do they have diet coke there or do they only have that sucky “Coca light”? Monkeys…are they jerks? Do they sell “special pizza” there like they used to in Cambodia? How can I avoid uptight WholeFoodsShoppin’-ecotourist-gringos-with-Prius’ types?

Michael and I went this past summer, and I wish we’d had your expertise (we had an old version of the guide). I’m still traumatized by how bad the food was everywhere.

yep. it ain’t generally a foodie culture. though if you stick to the basics (casados, chifrijos, gallo pinto), it can be quite tasty. and the food on the caribbean coast can be all kinds of awesome.
