I know, I hadnt heard of him either- til I read the obit his son wrote-

Of course, once I thought about it, I realized I had probably 30 or 40 albums he produced over the years.
From Roberta Flack to Dr. John, Bette Midler to the Neville Brothers, the Allman Brothers to Keith Jarret, he made a lot of music possible.</description>
