The Barry McGee show opened on my last day of work (after 4 years!) at REDCAT. The installation lasted until literally minutes before the show opened to the public and at some point in the afternoon, I was sent out to buy as many 8x10 inch document frames at Aaaron Brothers as I could find. Those frames ended up on the right-hand side of the picture posted above. Barry and his brother were trimming the paintings to fit in the frames and really putting their hearts into it. Definitely one of the best shows at that gallery so far, and it was good to see some images again!
