A sound installation by Os Gemeos. (Photos by Luna Park.)
Brazilian twin artist team of Os Gemeos opened a brand spanking new show at Deitch over the weekend called Too Far Too Close. Thankfully, special correspondent Luna Park was there to grab some pix of the opening night festivities. The installation is up through August 9th.
More after the jump.

Wow, this is amazing!
this is way too cool! thanks for showing me the real world (even though its only from my computer)
Hi – If I can nerd-out for a minute: read left to right from the front door, the show starts with the popularized “old school” NYC imagery like was exported in books and films, goes through various Brazilian cultural bits real or imagined, and ends with people (the twins maybe) getting some back jump action in today’s NYC subways.
The distant culture that brought them here, and with what. “Too Far Too Close” – right?
And did anyone find the detailed Montana cans conspicuous?
