re obama figure: hate to even hazard this guess re his giant index finger, but methinks it’s an islamic reference (ie his name). in islam pointing one’s finger to the sky is to invoke allah; most arabic posters and pictures of bin laden show him doing this. i hope this isn’t the case but it’s the best i can come up with.
