It’s time we Met.

The Met recently launched a contest called It’s Time We Met, in which the museum asked visitors to submit photos of themselves interacting with the collection. Well, my partner-in-crime El Celso has done ‘em one better. He has video. And it stars me.

Get ready for the most action-packed five minutes of your lives. Then let me know where I should go to accept my Oscar. Or, barring that, my gift bag…

xox,

  • better than cats. i want to see it again and again.

  • You had me at “c-monster enters, picks up book and sits on sofa…”

  • I loved it! It managed to capture the grit and candor of early Cassavetes nicely juxtaposed with the opulent décor straight out of Visconti’s “Il Gattopardo”. Did I detect an hommage to Sofia Coppola with the barely discernible dialogue at the end? I would normally object to the camera set-up, God knows John Ford would turn over in his grave…typically I agree with the great Lillian Gish who famously said:”if the good Lord had wanted you to view me from that angle, he would have placed your eyes in your belly button”…but I think a short film is the perfect medium in which to throw caution to the wind. Bravo!

  • I can’t believe I watched the whole thing.

  • This was fabuluos! Did you have stunts for the action scenes?

  • body doubles… i don’t take those sorts of risks…

  • OMG that is the performance of the century! You guys crack me up!
