I had the chance to see the instalation in Vancovuer last week.
it is really amazing.
i am from argentina and besides the differences in the culture, politics and conditions for each country, i have to say that the generation of my grand perants (born in the early XX century, and usually inmigrants or first generation in Argentina) are quite the same than Song Dong´s mother.
My Grand Father in law (typo?) is still alive with almost 94. i spend many hours heach sunday visiting his time life warehouse and getting into his laberynths.
the instalation in Vancovuer was really shocking to me, as i saw what i see every weekend but with chinese charecters.
